Performance issues

Hi Guys I am having a few my machines spec's are as follows:

Pocessor: AMD Ryzen 5, 2500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx 2.00 GHz
Installed memory (RAM) 8.00 GB (6.96 usable)
System Type: 64-bit operating System x64-based processor

I think? I know the answer is it because this is at the very limit of my machines capability? It will run it's just not very nice graphically a bit mess etc..

i have i7 -8700k 16gb ram and 1070gtx

the game was run good all ultra , dropped the bloom and DOF, i got many crushes but that probably some coding error or something , and when you load the game first time everything still slowly build up , but other then that i didnt get any issue ,

you probably want to lower ur setting or upgrade ur rig

and go for dx11, Vulkan is a bit too much

I did have that problem in the beginning I changed over to DX11 and it stopped it crashing. However it;s not resolved the graphic's issue so I have a feeling I will have to lower my settings or upgrade my machine

My Fps sometimes drops to 15-18 and the game constantly stutters - using any graphic settings, Vulcan or DX11.
Specs: FX 6350, 12 GB RAM, GTX 1650 Super 4 GB, Windows 10.

All the spec you guys are giving are for the origional baldur's gate game. Go get a real desktop PC with GPU. Laptops are not for gaming. Mobile and FX6350 are basically weaker than a calculator.

Yeah your spec's are better than mine mate. so I think it's going to be a case of waiting a bit longer I know they where talking about the spec's been lowered at some point to allow other machines to us it but that's just a maybe we'll wait and see

that might be the case mate but I don't have that money to throw around fella with kids and a wife. she would skin me alive lol... So I will have to make do for now maybe in a year I can do that when the full release is out.

The most irritating thing for me is that the textures are extremely low in any cutscenes and they load too long.

Yeah I know what you mean but there's not much we can do about it at this stage just sit back and see what they do at larian studios

Go directx 11, lower graphic settings down a bit. Dont go drastic, I went from Vulkan and high graphics and had a lot of big crashes. Switched to DX11 and medium and have not had an issue.

havent have single crash with vulkan and all settings max out
and game runs totally smooth
