How to add spells to action bar?

I'm going crazy trying to figure out; seems it should be simple but... can't drag items to the bar, have to righ click and add to hotbar, and as far as I can tell you can't just click to rearrange them either. I'm sure it'll get fixed since even D:OS allows this.

However, click on spells on my spell book does... nothing. How to add them to the hotbar? Right clicking brings nothing up. Thanks.

click on an active one in your spellbook to disable it and choose an other one to enable it your can have 5 in same time if i understand it

Make sure it's not locked. Dragging them should work, both from Items menu and Spells menu.

Thanks; I guess it's a glitch, because they're active but I can't drag them over. I can't even drag cantrips.

Press N, list of your spells is --> on the right. Drag n drop from there, should work.

Be sure you are on the right character. My wizard and Gale look similar so I tried dragging a spell to his hot bar once before I realized

Dragging spells is buggy. Often for me dragging begins correctly, but then spell-icon doesn't stay at the mouse cursor during drag, and when I drop the spell at bar it's not added to the bar.
