friends only gives advantage on charisma based skill checks if I remember correctly.
Guidance adds a d4 so it will actually affect the DC
I want to know if I'm the one who is bugged or if the spell is.
Friends is a concentration spell also, so you can't use both Guidance and Friends. Or can cancel it by other concentration spell.
Can't you stack Guidance and Friends?
They can be stacked. Like he was saying, they do two different things. Guidance adds 1d4 to your die roll and Friends gives you advantage, letting you roll two dice and choosing the higher die.
So with friends and guidance you roll two dice then add 1-4 to the higher die to get your roll result.
