Is Shadowheart connected to BG2 ?
They've kept everything regarding continuity with the old games close to the chest but does anyone else think the Half-Elf worshiper of Shar might be connected to Viconia?

They've said BG3 takes places a few hundred years after Throne of Bhaal, so most of the elf characters should still be kicking around, right?

Why would they miss that opportunity... Viconia is a cool character and Shar vs. Selune is being built up as a plotline. They would probably de-level her though or make it more of a cameo.

There was also some subtle Harper stuff related to the Grove, which of course made me think of the old druid/harper battle-axe.

100 years after, so there could possibly be a connection to Viconia (if she remained a priestess of Shar.)

This also means that any of the dwarf, half-elf, and gnome characters could possibly be kicking around too if they weren't too old. Quayle for example probably isn't still kicking around, but Jan Janssen could be. Viconia is my favorite companion from the previous games, so she's my top hope to see (and possibly even have as a companion option later?), but I would also love to see Jaheira and/or Aerie.
