Inspiration points ?
I'm not sure this is the right translation as I am runing the game in french, so I'll try to be clear : when I open the map on the top right corner there is a kind of star symbol (*) with "inspiration points) written. The same symbol can be found near some quests title in the logs as well, for example next to wyll or lazael's quests lines. What are these ? What does it mean ? :)

Inspiration points allow you to reroll a dice roll. If you are able to obtain inspiration points and you roll poorly, you can choose to use a point to reroll.

This mechanic could be used to limit long rests: You can rest only once and spending an inspiration point allows you to rest again. The amount of inspiration points could be changed with the difficulty setting.

I have not found a way to recover spent Inspiration Points but assume they will be granted as quest rewards. Technically, Inspiration Points are to be used prior to making a d20 roll but most DMs, including myself, allow players to use it as a re-roll.

I believe I got one for doing something very silly trying to delve into a mindflayer's mind and getting my face eaten for it but haven't found another as of yet.

Uh, so that's why there were some rolls I could chose to reroll then ! I difdn't get where that came from at the time !
