Lol, something I have difficulty with sometimes.. too much loot to decorate with....
Having such dynamic environment as that of DOS2 is a double-edged sword. Of course, you can cheese every battle by exploiting it, but it also offers such fresh elements to this age old genre both in and out of combat.
DOS2 provided many such options which take some time to find out and get used to. And it's only reasonable to assume that BG3 will do the same in that regard.
So, I hope people could try to be a bit more open minded about the new elements from the Divinity series. You can choose not to cheese a battle but only take advantage of the environment to make the game fun in a way that was not possible with traditional D&D games.
Cool post, but that doesn't have anything to really do with decorating a base lol, I feel like its adding oil for some pyro rager to start a flame war with off topic lol...
That being said, I hope the devs expand on items you can pick up, etc. Def seen some chairs, and tables I'd of liked to drag to camp....
Hell I wish we could be given a house, or small stone mansion in Baldurs Gate to decorate at some point too... sorta like Drage Age Inquisition, except we can place the items we want, and go shopping for tables, chairs, etc. lmao....
I'm a sucker for that sort of thing..

P.S.: But I agree that it'd be cool to have a similar mechanic to decorate your base as in DAI. I've always regretted that the mechanic wasn't fully developed in that game, possibly due to time restraint.
i'm happy to see that at least some find a use for the whole 2009 dragon age origins immersion braking camp idea. Happy hording!:) gj.
You're such a debbie downer
That is all... if you see that as negative so be it...
I'm just not in to this kid of thing so i have zero use for a static camp... And if i'm on any kind of camping trip i never stay at the same place twice.
This is why i see it immersion braking... just like i did with Dragon age.
I just like lord of the rings adventure feeling constantly moving the camp thing...
this is how i would prefer camping... https://ibb.co/JmNXwJM
I seem to have completely misunderstood the tone of your post. I am sorry. :(
