Anyone else just really dislike Gale?

He's probably my fave actually. Unfortunatey my current playthrough I am supposed to be selfish, so I've been keeping him at the camp.

Actually i find Gale the most tolerable. A touch narcassistic but then again he's likely a cheap copy of that Blackstaff harper in the old games. The hexblade is also kinda decent with the hero complex.

Rest of them I wish I had a mute button for.

Really? He's probably my favorite overall at the moment. Wyll seems like he could be interesting but I don't want to run double warlock. I also like Shadowheart as well. Astarion is easily the least likable imo.

No not really never take him out of camp. but slightly annoyed 2 of the holy trinity are itching to kill each other we need way more companions !so glad at least toolbox the vampire isnt too bad

Gale is my favorite companion by far. I absolutely loathe Astarion though and took great pleasure in setting a certain hunter on his trail after that damned bloodsucker tried to snack on me.

Gale and Wyll are practically the only Good Aligned Companions we get. I know Wyll is a Warlock and all, and therefore has his pact deal, but otherwise he's a standup guy.

Gale is basically just your friendly neighborhood Wizard.

The other companions are either

- Warrior who hates everyone (Lae'Zel)
- Cleric of a Deity who is all about murder and intrigue (Shadowheart)
- A literal Vampire Spawn (Astarion)

I let it slide, but it is scenarios like this I wish I could have choosen the pose and all that. He got too comfy and I wasn't bout having him all up on me like that.

Anyways, we will get the goodie two shoes characters later. Apparently the "evil" characters get less use/feedback so they started with them in EA to get the most responses they could from the community.

i like Gale. His story is very interesting, it's the fat kid want's cake scenario, he wanted cake.Pretty funny storyline.

Fair enough OP! I actually like Gale. I like them all TBH, but that's mostly due to me enjoying character and plot development. Using the Camp as a spot for cutscenes and such was a great idea. I'm hoping for the camp to be even more fleshed out as they improve the game. Lots of potential here.
