What a boring game.

Ready for the review bombing? I am.

The graphics, sounds, music all pretty good.
The cutscenes are nice.

That's about it.

The facial animations reminds me of a Mass Effect Andromeda.. you know.. when you smile you're screaming! Eyes rolling around, lips peeling back over your skull.

The animations during the cut scenes are a joke.

The general content is lacking.. I mean, really 1 page maybe 2 pages in a book.. couldn't be bothered writing even 2 pages? Maybe 3? It is a book.. not a pamphlet.

The combat.. against smaller groups is ok, against larger groups is boring.. really, starting the fight with some goblins and 2 of my guys were dead before they even got a turn.. what a stupid garbage design system..

It isn't even proper turn based it's a kind of card like game. The little characters don't really reflect any strategic moves it's like playing chess with someone who just endlessly runs away and shoots from the furthest point through pixel sized angles.. spell casters casting straight through walls.. what a mess this is, larian should be ashamed. Ever notice the first guy to move on the enemy side is always the rogue.. and he always gets the perfect backstab..

The only saving grace is being able to jump and throw things during combat.

The worst part of the combat round is the ai get's a bonus movement turn at the start, so instead of a pack of goblins, from front to rear moving as they come into range, the entire pack just spilts up and scatters.. any advantage you might have gained by initiating the combat is completely removed.. it's really really garbage.

There is no decent turn based game in the market nor really in the last decade that runs combat this badly. It really is just an rng mess. Absolute joke of a system.

im having fun, its a good game, its just not a game you enjoy, to each their own, ask for a refund, even if your over 2 hours they might allow it, especially considering they have different rules for EA

idk, all the issues so far have been pretty standard early access stuff that will probably get ironed out during the development process.

Yeah, rogues have high dex, which means higher initiative, which means they will go first most of the time.

His "legit arguments" are him showing he has no sense of strategy and just jumps into fights without thinking. Either you've never played DnD or you've played with ♥♥♥♥ DMs who let you get away with murder in the street because he didn't want to have to make you remake a character. Grow up and use your brain, is it early access, yes, are there going to be bugs, yes, should you be able to sit here and cry about your ♥♥♥♥ strategy and bugs, no go and make a bug report and grow the ♥♥♥♥ up.
