Swashbuckler Rogue subclass pls
I know this game is in early access but when the rogue options so far is Trickster or Thief. It really makes it hard to want a rogue in my party. Thief the most useless of the archtypes in the game. With it only good element being that they can use any magical item in the game.

Thief is pretty weak to begin with on table top. With a human GM that can fudge rolls or build set pieces that fits the thief skill set. With a hard code game. I can not see it worth using.

It does seem like the devs looked at the Trickers rogue and was like. "hmmmm illusion only spells seems like a bad idea." As it does look like they can use non illusion skills at level three. Still their lack of spell slots really hurts this subclass.

I dead get a sense of dread to think our options for rogue will be, Assassin, Tricksters and Thief. With the only decent of the options being Trickster. Yes Assassin can do good damage on it first turn If you can land a hit on someone who has not moved. If your attacking a surprised enemy. AKA you need to be Stealth.

So there a lot of things that can screw over the assassin big super burst damage. You can fail your stealth. You can fail to hit. You can fail your initiative roll.

Swashbluckler really need to be a subclass so we can have a good rogue subclass. Also pls make Booming blade and greenfire blade a cantrip.

There are missing classes. Subclasses and races.

It will be added when it's added.
No point complaining a rogue subclass isn't in the game when we don't even have half-orcs, or barbarians...

Your point is crazy subjective too, because many consider swashbuckler one of the lesser subclasses.

Not sure what you mean many. It is one of the most played subclass for rogue. Hell there a post about class and subclass in this game. With a lot of people saying swashbuckler.

With the first thing you bring up is barbs and half orcs. I have a hard time you are here to talk about rogues. More like you want to discourage the devs from making good subclasses to get your orc barbs. Which will be in the game. Which is limited to Totem Warrior and Berserker. Which I am sure you would like something beside Totem Warrior as no one will pick Berserker.

Game needs the expanded books subclass. As the base core book sucks. Just like how DnD 5e sucks. Honestly the devs should have used like 3.5 or pathfinder rule sets.

Everything currently points to It just going PHB, which would mean no Swashbuckler. I think (by which I mean almost certainly) there is even more demand for Hexblade and that looks like it'll probably not happen either.

There is literally a pathfinder game. You knew this was 5e, and the classes present at release were posted ALL OVER the internet before you ever bought this game. Why purchase something knowing all the information before hand, then complain about what you purchased? Hell why create this topic at all when you just said there is a post about class/subclass with people asking for swashbuckler? The reason is you're a Negative Nancy and you just want to complain.
