Mage Armor - In Underwear
So I'm playing as a Warlock and took Armor of Shadows invocation at level 2. Before I cast it I obviously have to remove my padded armor, but then it leaves me in my underwear. Then I can cast mage armor, but then I'm in my underwear now wherever I go (especially cutscenes...lol). I can't seem to find normal clothes or robes.

Oversight, or failure on my part?

I saw some normal clothes as loot from one of those enthralled fishermen, but you only get the loot there if you ended up killing someone.

does the game make you remove armor to use the spell? tabletop wise it should just overwrite your armor's stats.

Yeah hopefully its a temporary measure form not getting the chose the best AC to work , I notice that Monk and Barbarian are also left out of the early access. So I am guessing they are still working on that. And for a work around make you not wear armor to use mage armor. Just a hunch.

that does make sense, something tells me the divinity engine was not made to take something like AC into consideration.

Is there somewhere special I should report this feedback? Or is posting it here fine?

Actually, if you read the spell for mage armor 5e it does specify that you touch a willing creature that is not wearing armor. So that is part of DnD not Baldur's Gate doing that.

Picked up a few clothes robes, can’t remember any specific spots but will keep an eye out and report back next time I see one:)

shows how much I use mage armor in 5e huh? use it a lot in 3.5, but for 5e I much prefer shield spam.
