Take a long rest, I think. And save often so you can reload instead of dealing with that again.

it wont go away even when i do that! it goes all the way down and then resets, i think its glitched :(

I was having this issue but it went away after going through cooldown a few times. Seems to be a bugged ailment.

Yeah it ended up going away for me the next day. Cheeeeeers

There is a remove disease spell for the cleric that you can use to also remove it, iirc.

That's awful game design. The game should not have you to always save-load
And I don't have the cleric spell
Long rest doesn't help

I think when the timer on it runs down you have to make a save to cure yourself. If you fail the save it resets.

I think this is still bugged. One of my chars got this, and eventually it successfully saved (flesh rot removed), but then it instantly failed to save twice vs " ", that is, an empty condition, and the flesh rot started over.

long rest doesn't do anything. 3 out of 4 party members got it because they decided to walk into a trap. had to do two long rest to cure them with lesser restoration

Lesser restoration

You don't have it or its not prepped?
Press K, add it in to prep. Use it, done.
Cleric does not have to wait to level up to switch available spells.

It is annoying, but it isn't necessarily a death sentence.

What's really annoying is the character who pointed out the trap walking into it. (They usually manage to avoid them once someone's identified them. Once in a while, they blunder right into the trap they just identified.)

While I can't make them go single file, they'll usually stick to the path if my controlled character sticks to the path. (The paths can be seen through the water.) Once that character takes a step off the path, the party's all over the place and someone's got a bleeding wound that'll turn into rot.

Hey... I identified a trap!

How do you know?

I just stepped on it...
