How to revive a dead teammate outside of battle?

Use a resurrection scroll, you start with one, that is, if your character actually died, if it's just downed, you go next to him and use the HELP action.

couldn't use it on him outside of battle says i couldn't but i figured it out

i have a ally whos downed but not dead, made his saving throws and i cant figure out how to pick them up

Had a few situations where the allies dead body stretched through the screen skyrim style, can;t revive by scroll , pls help Swen

I'd try selecting their corpse and doing a small rest, if not reload from last save.

Click the "help" ability, then click the downed teammate. Left side, bottom row, rightmost button.
