OTOH, I can kind of understand why people might think that their willingness to help beta test only chapter 1 of the alpha version of BG3 should command some small price break from Larian--like 10%--a whopping six whole dollars...;) Of course there would be the usual complainers moaning about how that is not enough, etc! Usually EA purchase of a game engenders *something* from the developer, if it's just some special armor--weapons, whatever.
But...the good news is that the game includes the full version, and Larian has never failed through more than one EA to deliver the final product. And it's not as bad as some make it out--what EA means is a chance to get ahead of the bugs so that the people who buy the game won't have to endure weeks of patching as is the case with many other games that don't offer an EA at all.
I'm surprised you bought the game with as much time as you've spent complaining about it.
I dont know what you mean by content... It has HUGE amount of gameplay value already. Have you finished it? Honestly... its REALLY big already - and it will get maybe 4 times as big - and thats just main story and areas - then comes allot of replay value from more races and classes and other stuff... Paying 60 bucks for something like 30-50 hours fun seems pretty nice to me. Then again, in my country everything cost money. 60 bucks doesnt even pay for 1 night of party time
So, you are saying that no one should be allowed to buy a game in EA at full price if they want to? How do you plan to stop people from doing that?
Or wait for steam sales and get 3 great games then pick this up in a year with a 50% off sale.
Sorry, but you are talking out of your ass here. Neither you nor anyone knows if the game will be finished or if it will be worth the money. Unless you somehow can see the future, in which case please help me win the lottery.
People should know that whenever they get into an early access games those risks are real. Weather they accept the risk or not is up to them.
Sure... and then u cant play the game at all for the next 1-2 years... but u safe 30 bucks !!... Well isnt that the same as skipping the movie and waiting for the DVD... to each his own.
Well then you cant play it :) ... Tells us . Why are you here in this forum then, lol.
