Skill/Spell Icons and Gale?

Are they going to change the spell icons from the generic icons to something artistic?

Also, could they fix Gale's face, he looks the worst.

I kind of like the icons. They remind of of PnP.

The icons are a direct reference to how they looked in BG1&2, so I'm fine with them remaining as they are.

I actually found a couple of reddit posts and pics saying the same thing, saves me the trouble.

The in game model looks ugly plain and simple.

Can you try to put into words where you think the character model is lacking?
He sure doesn't look ugly to me, he looks quite handsome imo.
I mean... I hope I don't have to explain to you why a 2D painting with high contrast lighting looks more appealing than the ingame 3D model.

Well, they are. Just because his hair isn't flapping in the wind like in the screenshot, doesn't make it any less the same.

I'm guessing you're new to 3D stuff, aren't you? If you're expecting stuff to be like a drawing, then, well, you're in for a lot of disappointment.
