AFAIK older machines don’t get treated very well by this game, which is one of the reasons it’s on Stadia, but I’m not exactly sure how badly your experience will be on older hardware.
Id say its arguably debatable, they feel like totally different games, I personally like the new pathfinder better than bg3 and have def invested more time into it than bg3, but bg3 is slow on releasing cause of events so it might change later on and i love bg3 unless they make the OC of players feel like a side character to their unique npcs from the cover, than i'll personally just not enjoy it the same way i didnt enjoy dos2. If you like crpgs just invest in both and see how far you get before you hit 2hours, both games are good in their own way and a time sink though.
WoTR is in an arguably worse state than Cyberpunk 2077 was at launch, and that’s saying something.
