I see that intimate relationships are being implemented. Why? Seems like a waste of the gamer's time. Is there any reason for it other watching the characters do it?

Witcher was a european game, who generally have far less hang ups about sex and nudity than we prudish Americans.

I for one like the idea of soft core sex scenes being in game. If only the companions so far weren't all humans and elves. They need to throw in some Orcs and monsters!

It was removed because its extra steps for the same effect. While its an interesting idea its also entirely pointless with AC and To hit serving the exact same purpose

There was no "to hit" mechanic in A D&D "to hit" was your THAC0, it is literally in the name.
The reason I actually liked the revamp, was because of balance.. It was the right choice, and as a bonus, it made it easier to understand for new players.

I wasnt saying their was to hit in AD&D i said it serves the same purprose. Its basically a reverse AC (yes i know AC0 is still AC). Its a welcome change like you said for new players and made things more consitant (high good, low bad)
