Softcore porn? Whats the point?
I see that intimate relationships are being implemented. Why? Seems like a waste of the gamer's time. Is there any reason for it other watching the characters do it?

Ahh, thanks. Long elven names go right out of my head.

From books most of the Seldarine have given up on Drow letting Lloth do her thing, Selune though did have drow followers? this from books outside of D&D source books, so should be canon but might not be.

I've never actually heard of any other Goddess/God supporting the drow other then Lloth, and Selune.

Eilistraee is the goddess of beauty, dance, song, swordwork, freedom, moonlight and hunting. Although she's a member of the Dark Seldarine, her alignment is Chaotic Good, and she is worshiped by Drow who turn their backs on the evil ways of Drow society.

I would curse but I'd get another note, or hammered. Your right sorry everyone I was thinking of Eilistraee not Selune.

Enjoy your ban I guess.

I think some of it is sadly the way us Americans feel about such things in general. How easy it is for some to become offended because of such things in a video game. or the cry of outrage from parents who knowningly let their children play an M rated game. or other parents that didn't watch what their little ones were playing.

I know maaaany that even allowed those not even teens to play Grand Theft Auto, and several stated 'it keeps them out of my hair' then grew angry because of the moaning, and shock testing in game.

Well, we in Europe are pretty open minded of this kind of thing, but hey, the US has guts and slaughter instead.

Sex is part of life and to be repulsed by it is a psychological problem that probably goes back to your mother or something

I agree. Sex is a completely natural part of life. We teach sex ed in schools. Without millions of people engaging in sex every year, our species would go extinct!

So then why does our country have such a massive hang up about showing sex in a mainstream format, yet we glorify carnage and mayhem? Which are seen as shocking crimes in our society, and labeled as acts of terrorism in real life?

It makes absolutely no sense!

agreed 100%

It's even gone so far as outcries against women that have chosen to feed a hungry child in public, yet their feeders are covered up. (sorry for feeder not sure what words will cause sensitive people to become upset.)

yet show the guts leaking out of someone writhing and screaming in pain, tooootally okay with that. hypocrites

How are you going to play bard with no romance options?

RPG

Role Playing Game.

What' the point?

To role play, of course.

That IS the point.

One must get that point to truly get to the root of the matter.

What is being role played is irrelevant. What matters is simply playing the role to the point of being the role.

Why is the OP banned? Just for asking the question?

Not saying I agree with the premise - I like romance in RPGs - but banning for asking the question (if indeed that's what happened) seems really heavy handed.

Thanks for the response. I wonder what the comment was that was deemed worthy of a ban. As much as I enjoy romance in RPGs anyone who doesn't or who finds it morally wrong - well that's a matter for them. Don't think they need to be silenced for holding that view anymore than I should be silenced for holding mine.

Peace out.

Do u like the idea of really intmate mechanics in BG3? :)
kaintk Oct 5, 2020 @ 12:55am
jesus... lol , people like op should just go back to game like diablo3 or something, BG is a rpg game from D&D universe, it is purely rp first and a few action in it .. oh god, save us all :P
