If you check the Githyanki screenshot on the most recent community update post (which happens to be a Ranger), it shows what you can pick for Favored Enemy and Natural Explorer. One of the choices for Natural Explorer is Beast Taming.
The other adaptations i think it's the hp.... As far as i could find familiars should have 1 hp but the one in the video has 6 half less than the owner so don't know whats that about... maybe they can actually tank a hit or two... and not just be a distraction or touch spell conduit if those things are in the game that is. Lots of stuff to test on EA fun times..
so it's like a die or what? it just looks confusing... but makes sense i guess do they get hp with levels? ow well gonna see in EA anyway...
But it's a bad and good dog at the same time ^^
Ugh i know. The choices are endless. I was thinking necro for the undead but leaned towards more animal like. But undead sounds cool. ><
in 5e D&D familiars have the hp and skills of the monster the take shape as
Decisions! I can't decide hahaha 😅
Unless they plan on changing it but I saw that too in rhe video.
