But what you said is wrong Tieflings in BG3 have tails https://youtu.be/LUYI3ltNx_U?t=110
go to 1:50
thank you for pointing this one to me!:) I thought the tails were ommited, but yes clearly they have tails, well indeed mistake on my part but glad to be wrong on this one :)
One of tiefling subraces have wings if Im not mistaken ?
Somewhere there was actually a "Winged Bloodline" described on the wings.
I don't know whether hooves or feet also show differences in the "Bloodline".
What can I say ...
In Final Fantasy Online and other similar online games, they build animal tails and ears on people and call them animal people.
It doesn't get any lazier than that.
larian tiefling:

i dont get where the problem is.
if it is about certain bodyparts well how ugly, handsome or just unhuman your tiefling looks depends heavily on their bloodlineage
so if your tiefling is an asmodeus tiefling you should look like " a handsome devil"
Back in the days of 3.5 their looks were left very vague: some could look just about human but have only a hint of devilish looks (say, forked tongue, a short tail, perhaps hooves), while other would look downright beastly (fangs, horns, sulphur-like smell, etc). I suppose that now it all depends on their ancestry? Some have hooves, some don't.
the Tiefling rly look bad ... we need more Pretty Options PLZ !!!
Yes Draenei from WoW has hooves.
Now with Tieflings, it gets complicated a bit. Old time main rules say they all have horns, then they didn't necessarily have horns, but had to have some kind of "tell" that marked them as tieflings. Horns, hooves, eyes, tails, vestige wings, but they had to have one.
Now recently they have begun to look more like Cambion, where you have a whole bunch of tells that mark them as tieflings and usually it's eyes, horns, tails, skin texture and color. But I'm guessing that hooves aren't out of the question.

Yes, you also find those that you describe, however, WotC always were inconsistent with that themselves.
