Will orcs be in this game?

Larian is too good for wizards of the coast if they are not allowed. I can't believe I could of gotten another divinity game, instead we got to crutch up wizards which should of just been left to die.

Why not just go bother beamdog? why do you have to screw up larian, an actual good company!?

as foes or playable races?

i would guess some will show as a foe but have not seem them in anythign yet, as playable races, we might get half-orcs but cant see full orcs

Half-Orcs or Orcs? Pure Orcs not likely. NWN2 is the only D&D game I know that lets you play as Grey Orc, and that came later on with expansion. But we will probably see Half-Orcs.

I heard that Orcs and Drow are slated for removal from BG3. I also heard that they will be replaced by what are called the rainbow people. Will see what happens.

I may or may not buy the game because of this. Its not really fair to take it out on Larian, but I do not want to support Wizards of the Coast being backwards racists pretending to be ant-racists. No WOTC, Orcs were not an analogy for black people, until you made them so. You took something that was not insulting to any real race, and made it insulting in the name of "progress".

I think I will buy the game, at least to support Larian and I will give the game a fair review, both early access and final release.

Expect that review to be a lot more nitpicky than I originally planned.

If any of you want to wait to save money on early access or final release I'll do my best to make sure you're all as informed as possible. I'll also point out and highlight if I feel an agenda is being forced in the game.

I really wish they don't do that. I would be disappointed. I would still buy a game tho.

Orcs the greatest race in the history of fantasy, is sadly overlooked by most developers.... I usually have to settle with a half orc and its a damn shame to... I just want to put an Axe in peoples face is that so much to ask?

They will have half orcs. They had said a few times every race in the PHB will be available and that means half orcs.

Orcs are in Volos (I think) so may be later content. Still they can’t just add every DnD race I mean there’s a lot of options but unless we want another 2-3 year build time they have to draw the line.

so in dnd 5th Dwarves stand between 4 and 5 feet tall and Elves range from under 5 to over 6 feet tall meaning as per rules made a few years ago they can be the same size

No, they never once said we are getting every race, they said we are getting every class from the PHB. They couldnt answer when the question was asked about races.

I for one was deeply offended by Dwarves being short and think it is too little to late. Frankly the depiction of Gnomes is even more insensitive.
