Nobody is getting angry . I hope you aren't angry . Games are for fun
But it is in this forums we talk about games . I also agree that games today are generally a mixture of genres and not just one thing , still to be consider something that something must fulfill the basic understanding of that something .If not everything is everything and all adventure games that by nature have role play are RPG's . It is on this forums that we gamer's talk about games and we give a feedback on the developers . If we dont talk about the game mechanics like the levelcap10 in here , where are we to do it ?
I am annoyed by the so-called true fans of the old Baldur's Gate games ( I am old - 43 and was play a old BG games too) who just hate Larian BG3 - they don’t like the game itself, they not want play it, they just want go here and be toxic for every day they pick up the same themes in a circle - and so all time.
I love D&D and i do plan to play BG3 early access as soon as it is out , Still i will criticize BG3 as it is a honest feed back the developers like , not a game that the majority of the gamer's will not like .The developers already changed the initiative system and the third person dialog to first person based on the feedback. Still i will agree in meany topics people have strong opinion on .
And some other topics are irrelevant to games . It also annoyed me when people try to bring an other topic in a thread that the topic was clearly different or try to bait answers .
But I guess they don't wan to deal with these two systems at the same time when GOG is completely irelevant in comparison to Steam.
It just baffles me how people actually prefer Steam with all their shady practices. In all honesty despite what people say, the epic store is far superior to Steam but people just want to be show offs and say they have a million game on Steam which they wouldn't even play a quarter of them. I don't mind Epic store exclusives. They aren't platform and or console exclusives. If you have windows, then you can play.
GoG is really bad compared to Steam's client but I hope in the future their client gets better. However, GoG is by far more consumers friendly.
I only use Steam because some games don't release on other stores especially inde games. Also, I use Steam for community discussions because of the built up community here. I don't like using Reddit because Reddits mods are insane and because of the circlejerk phenomena.
I don’t think WotC see things like pathfinder and cyberpunk as direct competition just small company’s seeing the same thing. Dnd by far has the biggest piece of market followed by pathfinder cyber punk may be popular but other than the upcoming game
It’s no where near WotC
they would need to see pathfinder as one
seeing a 1st person rpg/shooter as a direct competition is a bit silly
Wasteland 3 might be one about the same time that will be competition
Also BG3 isn't published by WOTC Larian is still an indie developer. So no Larian really doen't have to care about what Pathfinder does.
What the actual ♥♥♥♥?
Ok they have a their own office https://kingmaker.owlcatgames.com/news/213.html but everyone should get the idea
Nah you have to be crazy to make a 120h+ Crpg with 30 devs in 2 years! Normal western devs couldn't or wouldn't do that,
