Which Classes will we get? What about Artificer?
Since Artificer is a new class in E5, will it be adapted in BG3 and which classes will we get at all?

Hopefully we get all the official classes, and all the official races. This would absolutely destroy the RPG segment as it would allow for more replay-ability and more options for both players and enemies. I hate when games confine you to a small box.

Unknown currently. The Artificer doesn't exactly feel like an FR class, but it seems like Larian has plenty of time to implement it if they choose to.

I doubt we get the artificer at launch. The artificer originates from the Eberron setting, not the Forgotten Realms.

Artificiers existed prior to Eberron (though the class was introduced with the Eberron book in 5e as an official class as it had been unearthed arcana until then), the 3.5 edition has Gnomish Artificier (or Lantanese Artificier if human) which is squarely placed in the Forgotten Realms.

This was a prestige class. Lantan is an island nation north of Chult and south of the Sword Coast and is in the forgotten realms canon and has been for quite some time, having recently returned to Toril from having shifted to Abeir during a cataclysm some hundred years ago.

In the current edition Lantan is mentioned in the Sword Coast Adventurers book, and Waterdeep has multiple references to Lantan and temple of Gond such as "Day of Wonders" where mechs literally parade the streets and the gryphon cavalry had to rescue a person who made a flying mechanical chair. And nimblewrights, which are a robot like construct, play a core role in one of the official Waterdeep campaigns.

I think we will get everything from the phb. Classes from other sources are much less likely.

Well in early interviews they where taking for also including material outside player handbook so maybe they will include the class .I think it would be nice if they did ..

Everyone's saying that it's an Eberron class, yet Tasha's Cauldron of everything has introduced it into the FR realm setting
