Larian's "BG3" has no relation to BG1 and BG2. It doesn't even take place remotely after BG2.

Larian's "BG3" is meant to be the sequel to Descent Into Avernus, and Descent into Avernus is meant to be the prequel to Larian's "BG3".

So, Larian's "BG3" isn't actually Baldur's Gate 3. It's just another D&D PC RPG. Why it's being called "BG3" when it isn't a continuation of the Baldur's Gate series, who knows? Calling it "BG3" appears to just be a cash-grab.

remotely after changes when you have people living 500+ years, keep in mind elves born during BG2 might not be counted as an adult yet

For the record, the player character in BG1+2 is dead. Gone. Poof. Obliterated. No more. An ex-character. All the Bhaalspawn are kaput. All of them. Bhaal's back and he's eaten the lot of them. This is official canon.

wow thats some **** lazy writing

I agree, it's just make baldur's gate 1 and 2 unofficially and non-cannon, or something.
