Halflings: head size (?)
The halfling we saw in yesterday's footage looked quite creepy with his balloony head. ;) Please tone down head sizes for halflings (and dwarves?), if this was to be the current regular head size for the race.

Also, I hope camera controls will be on a par with high-quality CRPGs and not bumpy and clumsy to control like in D:OS2 Definitive Edition.

Thank you.

Not a fan of the WoW-like comicbook styles. Also, antenna ears? A no-go for me.

I prefer my fantasy classic. :dustpan:

Dear God, who designed this crap:wtf: :Uranium:

*turns away in disgust* Now, that's one solid reason not to touch the 5th Edition, ever. :nftd_scared::warmage:

Yeah I don't know where you got the wow vibe from elves, but it wasn't from DOS2. Those elves looking nothing like the ones in wow. Wow Elves are pretty typical.

dwarfs looks like they have big head because their heads are normal size when their body isnt.
I agree that a half-ling probably shouldnt have a normal sized head as well.

The illustrations of halflings all look like midgets in 5e. I know we're not supposed to use that term anymore, but I couldn't come up with something more descriptive.

They are both weirdly shaped and have cartoonish faces and antenna ears.

Sorry, but RL midgets do not look like that. :D_Stop:

They often do, though, with torsos and limbs that are not proportional. Classic halflings are proportional, but smaller.

Then what are we suposed to call midgets? small people? half-sized people? shorty? no need to kneel bj people? people from bellow?

People are too sensitive nowdays.
I think they like little people, but I'm no expert. Little people would have been confusing in context.

It is still in the early stages of development, so there will be a lot of adjustments.

You also have to get the fine * little * difference between dwarf, gnome, hobbit and halfling.

Yeah, but we're talking about what halflings look like in the 5e book, and they look like what we saw in the hands on.

And you don't like the new halflings so much?

I have to say the child's face was also misplaced.

Well, it's not that big a deal. I just thought the over sized head was kind of jarring. It's not the choice I would have made.
