Releasing something now similar to Pillars of Eternity (but with the updated graphics like deadfire) will be perfect. Anyone hating this BG3 would buy just to prove larian and swordcoast a point ;). And I really want more games like pillars and bg.

obsidian has fallen. Sad to say mate, but they won't be capitalizing on this after the disaster of deadfire.

I'd love to see them make more games though, the dense city in deadfire was badass. Too many games are spaced out and filled with filler, it was nice to see a change.

Yeah i think Obsidian should take a long break from CRPGs, they're not that good at it, and focus on sci fi RPGs and such for microsoft.. plus the game director already said they won't make another crpg until they figure out why PoE2 sold much less than PoE.. it was a blog post a few weeks ago, so there are no plans whatsoever .. just a sequel of some kind to Outer Worlds, which is good, and that stupid survival game of theirs

Yes I heard that it had fallen. But I hope for the best! There's a chance now. Many people really want something like a "different" BG3 then what we have now.
I didn't like deadfires setting or the UI, but the rest was great imo (that dense city was cool).

I guess Pathfinder 2 will have to be enough for most people. I find that a tad to cartoon and light for my taste though (graphics), and its spin around 3D...

Agree! Obsidian should make a new Neverwinter Nights game or Icewind Dale to show Larian who such games should be treated.

I agree. This game is Baldur's Gate only in name. If Microsoft/Obsidian releases their next spiritual successor to Infinity Engine games now, everyone would praise them instead.
