The areas in the game is definitely from Dungeons and Dragons lore.
Not all loot is randomized. Same as table top.
Style of the game is in the eye of the beholder whether they like it or not.
The Developers did say there would be more of a focus on unique items scatter about the world and less on random loot, we will have to wait and see how that turns out.
BG1 and 2 were over all verly light and colorful in atmosphere, they could dark at times but over all they were bright and silly high fantasty adventure.
2- Lets see... Forgotten Realms Setting, takes Place on the Sword Coast. Thats iconic in my Book. ...Baldurs Gate IS btw a City on the Sword Coast.
Absolutely a Divinity 2 mod
Yes owlcat that team that put a game out that was un playable at release. The team that is STILL fixing bugs that break the game while kick starting a new game lol.
How can you say it has nothing to do with the universe? Its set in the same area, is tied to the BSpawn story line, will have characters from the first 2 games and the lore is pulled right from the first 2 games.. Seems like you watched 5 min of the ALPHA play through with out doing an research.
Crappy randomized loot? Not sure what this is even talking about.
Non gritty? lol based on what?
This whole post is absurd 3/10 bad troll job.
I like real time combat more than turn based in my CRPGs, but lets not pretend that the old BG games had any kind of deep or complex battle system. Outside of limited spells, those AD&D classes had next to nothing to do in battle but basic attack.
Boy, was Kingmaker "gritty"! 😂
