Game Will No Longer Launch

I played this game a few hours and absolutely love it... But now it won't launch at all after having run it a few hours. The dev logos show and then, whether or not I've skipped the logos, the game just hangs on a black screen at 1 fps. At that point nothing more will happen, and even closing the window doesn't end the process; I have to kill it from the task manager, both as an independent program and as a subprocess of Steam. I have a feeling this might have to do with Steam Cloud Sync? It doesn't work on either of my machines, and reinstalling didn't fix the issue. I'm at a loss here.

Hi, there!
I had a similiar problem. Once I activated fullscreen, the game crashed. After a restart I've had the same problem as you.
And I found a fix!

I deactivated steam cloud for the game, removed it entirely and went to the following folder

My Path:
C/Program(x86)/Steam/
This is the folder of the Steam client

Open: "userdata"
There should be at least one folder with a lot of numbers (this is your Account ID)
Open it.

Search Folder: 1086860
This is the Steamapp ID of Touhou Sky Arena

Remove it! (i left it on my desktop)

Finally: Reinstall the game

It seems this folder contains the option files (which don't get removed after deinstalling!!!). Keep in mind I don't exactly know what is inside these files (i haven't played the game so i didn't care about dataloss)
