Stuck on Kill Screen

Every time I die in Kill Screen the game says "push button to get up" but no matter what I push (both on xbox controller and on keyboard) it's just stuck. Anyone else have this problem?

I do, I have the same problem and this led me to be here in the discussion page. The game is great so far and I want to finish it.

Ok. I think I found away but I am not sure if it was designed this way, press X on the keyboard multiple time until you go back in the game with new HP.

You need to hammer the A button repeatedly - the blurred blue wireframe lines come back into focus a little each time and then you start again (but the previous path remains marked on the map).
