Odie: the best character for single player?

Is Odie with his unique hat the best char for single player? He seems very op to me - at least, if you manage to control his extra boost time.

Odie + Monterago Helmet is the best at every mode.

The helmet is bugged, so it increases the duration of ALL boosts (Lasagna, Pads... Most importantly your drifting)

And Odie has the second best acceleration, so he front runs the pack at the start AND cannot lower down because items do almost nothing to him.

Ya... I already noticed that it increases ALL boosts xD Well, it fits the overall glitchiness of the game very well.
