If you get a high enough kudos and have the upgrade that enhances your damage via your kudos the bomb weapon along with dark mode will deal EXTREME damage to the bosses.
I don't think they work during Anthem, though.
If you are using Orbital Edge to kill small mobs and Anchor Nexus for anything chunkier, you should never run out of fuel unless you are literally going at Mach 10 speed.
Most of your Hit Counter (Called Kudos by the way) comes not from enemies, but from the Kill bonuses.
The more enemies you kill in a row without landing on your feet, the higher the bonus scales (Up until you kill x5 mobs in a row, at which point every kill gives you 50 Kudos iirc).
The Emblems are not necessary for getting your Kudos to 1000, if you get a hang of Copen's handling and through practice, form a route to pinball around the stage, you WILL get 1000 before even having the chance to near reach the first Hexapile in a stage (Room transition).
Thanks for the info, really dig the game.
