Dark lola
We finally got some detail as to how she works on the website. You take constant dmg but your weapons can be used as much as you desire. A true glass cannon, I love it.
As for activation, it says something about lighting septima screwing with her systems and what not but I am not sure what this means. Oh well we will see.
If this doesn't require you to die, I might try to learn how to use this as much as possible. I love glass cannons.

It leaves you at 1HP, so go on ahead. It unlocks after 5 stages or so.

There's only like one weapon i like to use a lot and it does't consume much energy (basically unlimited since its based on the dash) so meh. If it increased gun damage i would do play too for those extreme no checkpoint kudos runs.

The ex weapon is used automatically whenever you shoot at an enemy so it's kinda uncomfortable to use depending on which weapon you pick (The tornado for example messes up with your height). I would stick with the default ex weapon so you can get extra points without destroying the enemies too quickly and possibly ruining the patterns like the bomb weapon does.

If you get a high enough kudos and have the upgrade that enhances your damage via your kudos the bomb weapon along with dark mode will deal EXTREME damage to the bosses.

Just to clarify, OD refers to getting 1k kudos im guessing? Game ain't exactly clear on what OD is.

That's how it worked in Gunvolt 2.
I don't think they work during Anthem, though.

Although you don't really need it at all, unless you are on a mob gauntlet room.
If you are using Orbital Edge to kill small mobs and Anchor Nexus for anything chunkier, you should never run out of fuel unless you are literally going at Mach 10 speed.

I am not amazing at the game by any means but I feel pretty competent. I've only really had a few instances that took more than a couple of deaths at worst. That said I never get my hit counter high enough to get into OD. Even when I seem to avoid damage and pick up the special item I think I topped out at around 900 ~ . I notice the glowing items "turn in" your item counter for score or whatever. You can't bypass them to keep the number higher can you? I just thought of that really.

Most of your Hit Counter (Called Kudos by the way) comes not from enemies, but from the Kill bonuses.

The more enemies you kill in a row without landing on your feet, the higher the bonus scales (Up until you kill x5 mobs in a row, at which point every kill gives you 50 Kudos iirc).

The Emblems are not necessary for getting your Kudos to 1000, if you get a hang of Copen's handling and through practice, form a route to pinball around the stage, you WILL get 1000 before even having the chance to near reach the first Hexapile in a stage (Room transition).

Yeah, I just watched the "Demonstration" right after beating the game. I didn't realize how much your hit counter was increased by bonuses and such. Just doing aerial EX kills seemed to rack up a ton.

Thanks for the info, really dig the game.
