Chapter 1 Investigation bug

Hello,

I think there's a bug at the Chapter 1 ending investigatiton. When I put Natasha's Card and the threat letter, I cannot proceed. Is it a bug or am I doing something wrong? Can someone help me?

You have to drag a thread from the clue to the portrait, then you can proceed to choose the connection.

I should be able to put the thread when I use both of these cards but it says "Almost, Not Quite"

It does not register as correct for some reason I cannot understand why

Can anyone help me with this? I cannot connect these cards whatsoever.

You need to click and hold the mouse button on one clue (let's say the Strange Threads clue) and then release it over the other clue (in this case Natasha's picture). Does that not work? It should show a pin and a piece of thread connecting the two clues.

Hello @Hg_Yona, thank you for your answer. No it does not work. I have seen some videos on the internet, when you make a connection between Natasha and Strange threats, it says something like "That's it" or "Yes, That's going to be right." As you can see in my screenshot, it does not say any of that even though I did make the correct connection. Therefore i cannot proceed with the pin because it does not show up at all.

Hey, thanks for your feedback, we know about this issue. It's super-rare and we couldn't reproduce it, but we are already working on the solution! :)

For now, have you tried restarting the game? Maybe it works after reloading the scene? :)

Yes i did, i reinstalled, cleared the cache, replayed the chapter 3 times with/without limited locations. Did not change the outcome

Okay, hmm. Could you send us your save file perhaps?
It's located under C:\Users\YOUR USER\AppData\LocalLow\HandyGames\Chicken Police

It might help us get to the bottom of this quicker :)

We would like to check something: can you post a screenshot from your main menu? and can you tell us what region and language settings do you use for your PC and for your Steam? Thanks! :)

I live in Turkey. PC and Steam is English.

I had the same problem. Solved it by changing windows language to English. It was Turkish before. Strange bug.

Yes, we figured out what the issue is and are working to resolve it as soon as possible. For now, the workaround is to switch the windows system language to English (or any other language that isn't Turkish). Sorry for the inconvenience!
