Chicken Police

The books you are suppose to be able to collect in the game, are Not in my game! I have gone through Every walkthrough I can find and the books just are Not there! Does anyone have any ideas as to why?!

Hmm. The books are the only meta progress that are shared between save slots. Maybe you are sharing your account with someone who has already collected them all?

I appreciate you taking the time to help...but I dont share my account with anyone. It's really frustrating not knowing why they are not in the game! Thx again!

Hmm, are you sure they aren't there? They don't have any text popping up when you are hovering over them, they just change your cursor to a grab icon. Try the Police Department, there should be one on a bench in the middle of the room.

Positive! Believe me..I have looked it up on youtube to see where they are! I thought maybe I was somehow missing them...but I have looked several times where they are suppose to be! Thx

That is so weird...
Can you check the Extras menu (from the main menu) and check the Collectibles tab? Are they already unlocked there?

Does anyone know how to reset that? I would really like to be able to collect them myself ...maybe it sounds silly. But, it is what I would like to do!

Well, since the books are meta progress, you will need to delete your save file in order to be able to recollect them.

You can find (and delete) your save game here:
C:\Users\YOUR USER\Documents\My Games\Chicken Police\Savegames

Make sure to disable Cloud Save on Steam when you start the game again, otherwise it will just redownload the file.

No worries, you won't lose your achievements (not in-game either, since it syncs with the Steam achievements on start up).

As to why they were already collected for you in the first place... no idea...
