Cant clean equipment/sand doesnt show

Fresh game, most machines now have the dustpan icon to clean them but the feather duster does nothing. No visual sand is showing either. Exit/restart no change.

It's a known issue. You can try picking the machines up and putting them back down, or if you have the house editing function, you can move the machines around and then the sand might show up and you can clear it. I'm sure it'll get fixed in short order.
