Dew Collectors Broken?

So, thinking it must've been with the patch this morning. All of a sudden my super dew collectors are not collecting dew. I wake up in the morning and there should be 8-9 dew in each one, but there's zero. And it's not a cosmetic bug where the counter just doesn't increment because I go up and try to collect dew and get a message saying there's none to collect. Anyone else? This has persisted across at least 1-2 full restarts of the game as I took little breaks to do other things.

Side comment: Is it just me, or do the super dew collectors make no sense? Most of the machines in the game may be fanciful, but are at least based loosely on real engineering principles. The super dew collectors don't appear to be functional at all in that sense. The mirrors would focus light on the container at the center, but that would cause any moisture in there to evaporate or turn to steam, not run down the tube to what may be a collection chamber of some sort at the bottom.

Edit: OK, picked each one up and set it back down and now they're working again. Leaving this comment here in case it helps someone else.

Have you tried picking them up, moving them to inventory, then placing them down again (Essentially resetting their state)?

Other then it being a Valid Bug; only thing else I can figure is there might be an accumulation of dust on them, maybe run a feather duster or vacuum over them.

How many are we talking about? I am wondering if you have too many for your system. Just throwing guesses out there.

Sorry if this is an old reply, I had this bug multiple times and it seems the Dew collector "bugs out" when there is a dust storm. So if your dew collector doesnt collect any dew/water, basically you need to pick them up and put them in your inventory. Then, Bring it to the architect place and talk to the table to manually put down the dew collector that way. This has helped fix the bugs for me, hope this helps!
