And you're right, prices fluctuate a bit. That's the inflation thing in the bottom left corner. The page will still show the "base" price but it'll adjust according to today's inflation or deflation. So it pays to buy on days with prices below 100% [green] and to sell finished stuff on days with inflation [red, prices above 100%].
Confirmed we do get the 50% discount as intended but it needs something on the screen to say it has been applied otherwise it is confusing. When I looked at the item buy prices I thought it was the standard price, not realising that it was the discount price.
I understand how the market price indicator works from playing MTAP, but it just adds to the confusion in this instance.
A possible solution would be to remove the market indicator for the 7 days of the 50% sale and instead say "Special price 50% discount applied".
When the 7 days are ended add the market indicator back again and carry on as normal.
