Sepia Toned Woes

Hey all, I'm just totally stuck with the Sepia Toned Memories achievement. I've tried googling and searching through the discussions here but I'm still at a loss. Just looking for some guidance. I have about a million questions so I'm just going to post a list here and hope I can get answers to at least some of them. For reference: I have completed Gone With the Wind and made the album for Mort. I did get the first photo (water tower) but I can't get anything else to drop for the life of me. Any help is appreciated!

1. How many photos are there in total? I have read that there are 5, but I've also seen other lists online that have a required 10 for the achievement.
   
2. Do I need to have story event photos in my album for the Mort photos to drop? Because I skip the cut scenes like a monster.
   
3. Does raising your luck stat help increase the likelihood of the photos dropping?
   
4. Do the photos show up in your inventory, or skip inventory and just show up in your story album?
   
5. Do you get a notification of some kind when you pick up a photo?
   
6. When you pick up a photo, does a quest icon show up on the map for Mort?
   
7. Is it true that only one photo will drop at a time (with the exception of the Gecko Ruins)?
   
8. Speaking of Gecko Ruins... how does the photo drop in there? Just from mining? Or a chest? Are there certain floors where the chance is higher?
   
9. I've read that the photos (aside from Gecko) drop on the "main map." Does that mean the default areas that are open at the beginning of the game, right around Sandrock proper?
   
10. Where can photos drop from? I know scrap piles, breaking the bus/monument, and sandworms... do they also drop from kicking trees? Harvesting plants?
    
11. Is there one photo that drops from each scrap type? Like one from rock, one from kicking trees, one from sandworms, etc? Someone alluded to this in another post I saw.
    
12. Do they drop from the trash/food scraps in town?

In the pinned Known Issues and Bug Report for July, it states "The issue of not dropping old photos after triggering Gone with the Wind.[This issue will be fixed after the ver 1.4.0 update. We are very sorry for the inconvinience you met.]"

This is not a mission where you go specifically hunting for the photos. (At least in my opinion.) Just continue on with your usual work and individual photos will be found as you go along. You likely will not find all the photos until near the end of the main story. There are ten altogether and some of them are gated behind completing main story missions. Thanks for your reply! I haven't been specifically hunting them, but I finished Gone With the Wind a while ago and have found NONE so I got concerned. Sounds like it's a known bug, so I'll just keep plugging along :)

It seemed like I would find some in the junk on the ground. So maybe try making sure you pick that stuff up when you see it.

I decided to complete this game...and I also wanted to complete all the achievements...and I also got stuck with this achievement...I have exactly the same problem!
Most likely this is a bug of the game.. I created another photo album which I gave to Mort... and when I open it.. the photo is shown there.. but the caption does not match..

Honestly, I always get this done by accident. Just playing the game will eventually collect them all. In fact, I always seem to find at least one more after Mort gives the "all done" speech.
