Suggestion: Gift Rebalance

Some of the gifts don't make sense.

Grace Talks about how she likes Yakmel Milk and drinks it daily
But she doesn't like it as a gift.

Food Scraps - no one likes it
But animals should like getting food scraps as a gift

Techno Cup - no one likes it
Qui, Haru, Heidi, Grace people who like techno stuff should like it

Many of the Relics also do not have anyone that likes \ loves it


Would be nice to see some items getting a rebalance

Sandrock gifting is much better than portia, at least. In sandrock, the people actually give you good clues for gifts and there's often a decent selection of items they like. Portia gifting is a relic gacha, you never know what they like so only universal gifts matter.

Except for sandy. Nothing makes that mascot happy, and no there aren't any clues for what it likes.

There are still inconsistencies

Heidi asks for Sunscreen as a favor - but she also doesn't like it

Amirah claims to like painting and pottery
But she doesn't like any of the paintings or clay statues ( Sand eagle \ Oz statues )

Else wants to be an Outlaw like Logan
But doesn't like any Bandana's or guns

Grace is an Archaeologist
But doesn't like Fish Fossil

What makes it more bizarre the cats and Qi like Fish Fossil
Qi you would expect to hate it since it isn't technology based




Thats why I think they should just do a Gift Rebalance
Just so items that no one likes actually get some use and items that you would expect people to like - actually get applied

Since it isn't adding new content, just rebalancing existing content

Another is that Logan dislikes spicy food, but likes Spicy Fish Soup, seemingly because it was set up as a universal like for human NPCs.

Fang is neutral towards certain medicinal materials, notably Cactus Flower and Medicinal Sap, while appreciating others.

And yeah, the ones that can be Desires but then are not liked as gifts can be misleading, depending on the dialogue when the Desire is expressed.

I just assumed she would want plants to eat, and kept trying different ones until I finally came across a liked gift. Looking now at the list of her liked/loved gifts on the wiki...yeah, I see little rhyme or reason and never would have guessed 95% of them.

I also notice this on Play/Dates with Fang when having dinner, they always seem to include meat dish as a must, which seems a bit odd.
