Pen following me!! HELP!!

After the mission with Pen's training lesson he just keeps following me around. I've played through a couple of days and different cutscenes and even restarted the game but he's still there. Literally standing by my bed when i wake up. Has anyone else had this happen? Also does anyone know how to make him leave me alone?

He left after I went to sleep at the end of the day. But of course have a save before that in case it doesn't work. Elsie's horse also stalked me after finding the hidden treasure chest. Sleeping resolved that one too.

This happened to me as well after the mission where you have to save him from the mirror. He followed me for two days. So I used him to fight everything I could without using my own stamina. On the third day when I woke up he wasn't there anymore.

Reloading a previous save helped me get rid of Pen, I didnt even have to reload one from before his quest to learn his "Space punch". So, try saving in a new slot and loading

I just went back and reloaded the current save and it worked, Pen was gone! No need to go back a day, which is a relief. Thanks!

Also had the same problem. Monster killing did not unstick him, nor sleeping, nor reloading just any save, nor passing out, nor jumping off a cliff & dying.

How I FINALLY got past this "Pen"bug:
There is an auto save of the end of the quest right after you finish it. (Screenshot is of ur character alone after pen ran of and getting the strength upgrade.)
Reload that autosave.
Pen no longer followed me.

(Spent more than hour trying to get around this.)

If it's after the 'Masterclass' quest, just wait for it to finish, quicksave, exist to main menu and load that same save again. For me it works every single time.

This was Perfect, I lost nothing and after the load Pen is walking away from me.

I know this is a bit late, but i had an auto save at after the mission, which i loaded after noticing he followed me, and he stopped.
