Pen following me!! HELP!!

After the mission with Pen's training lesson he just keeps following me around. I've played through a couple of days and different cutscenes and even restarted the game but he's still there. Literally standing by my bed when i wake up. Has anyone else had this happen? Also does anyone know how to make him leave me alone?

Are you on a play date? Are there some light red quest circles on your map where you can hang out and do activities?

I solved it by loading an earlier save and replaying the mission but I can't guarantee that will always work.

Yes, I'm being stalked by Pen as well. Sandstorm, figured I'd start a fight with him then maybe he will go away. He did want to fight baddies in the mine. Some benefit.

During his training session, he's supposed to attack the rocket roosters and bumble ants near next to where he gives his little lecture.

attack/kill all the adds around him when he was training you.

I have a same problem too. he follow me 3 days in game now. it creepy.

Oh, man, I knew it was a known bug but hadn't really looked into it and kind of assumed it would fix itself after a bit. Now trying to figure out if it's worthwhile to go back and redo the mission and lose a day's progress. :/ If I even have a save at the right time!

Save and reload that save, worked for me.

That happened to me twice. First time with Logan then with Pen. I didn't mind Logan following me around, except standing by the side of the bed... super creepy. But I would not tolerate Pen stalking me (I have standards... ) So I just reloaded to before the quest and played it again and he didn't follow me the second time.

I just went back and reloaded the current save and it worked, Pen was gone! No need to go back a day, which is a relief. Thanks!

I had the same problem, I kept saying, Pen, my heart is for Owen, not you lol. Had to save then reload the game, then he disappeared.

I had the same issue and I was like hmm maybe he’ll stop so I kept on the whole day and then I’m like alright this is creepy and went into my house and thought surely there’s no way he’d come in and he did and so I just loaded a quick save I had and it fixed the issue but I was cracking up the whole time but after a while it got weird… (would’ve been better if it was fang or Logan tho)

I had the same issue and used him to farm all monsters on the map. Just aggro monsters by going near them or throw a rock at them (costs 1 stamina) and then let Pen kill them. You get the full XP and all monster loot. After clearing out the starting area I even let him kill some highlevel and elite monsters. If he goes down you have to dodge the monsters until he recovers to full life again after a few seconds. When going to bed he was gone the next day, so he is only a temporary follower.

I can also confirm Pen left after I went to sleep. He was there when I woke up but after I went outside he just started walking away.
