rainy day buckets

I absolutely love this game and the rainy day was a great addition! However, my buckets did not fill with water.

I noticed the same thing. I made a bunch.

This might be a dumb question but did you put them outside on the ground? They won't fill in your inventory.

same, i have like 5 buckets next to my dew colectors and none of them fill a bit during the rain :(

I had 3 scattered around my yard, none filled, neither was the bucket that's between town and my workshop, which WAS filled in the footage shown during the live stream that the developers did on the 9th

I made 19. All empty. :/

But the dew collectors did fill up fast, which was nice.

Had to collect from 70 though, which was not nice.

what i noticed is that when you place buckets your water tank does not go down during the rain

I had them next to my stable out in open but it did not even had a drop of water in it . But I noticed tank water not being used during the rain .

Had eight out in the open in the yard. None of them had any water added during the rain or the following morning.

Only my dew collectors filled with water... that and farm plots water meter. I dont think buckets/jars/whatever work which is odd given Burgess gives the MC a bucket w/ the rain note.

I had an urn fill with water but couldn't do anything with it... I just picked it up and it was gone.

Oh goody, I was going to ask what you do with the water that collects in your buckets; but it looks like I'm lucky I even got water in my buckets. I was afraid to pick up a bucket to see what happened, and I guess it's a good thing I didn't. Then again, maybe it doesn't matter. I don't know what to think at this point.

Oh wow, right after I posted my previous message, I noticed my buckets had "Collect" next to them. I was able to collect the water from each of the buckets. Great!
