Replying to letters

I recently came back to the game since the new update. I have a letter from Ma saying that she hasn't heard from me in a while, and I have the note that I have a reply-able letter. Except I can't reply to the letter. The button doesn't come up at all. I just wanna let Ma know I'm ok Any suggestions? Or just a bug?

Only thing I can think of is the activator is off (The space where you click to say do this). I know in the Mount Screen where it shows stats I have to move up a little to click X to close in the Upper Right).

Might be something else though.

As far as I know, that letter exists to bring up the "replying to letters" tutorial and it should give you whatever last letter you received from Nia to practice the mechanic with. After that, you'll be able to reply to subsequent letters your mom and Nia send

So messed with it a bit. Turns out I had an invisible letter from Nia that popped up while clicking on the nothingness.
