Cringing with logan (spoilers dont look if not completed new update.)

so...... anyone else click the heart/flirt option with Logan and just super cringe? my god felt like a weird groupie and at boy band VIP. even Logan was like " er... we just like... met...." like yeah i know bro you n me both kinda creeped out. lmfao guess builder and the mouse princess can get matching tshirts with logan on em. i mean of all the things the builder could have said to flirt we are forced to go with: " i was in love with you at first sight!'"
i nearly died of shame. lol

And this is not a political spy/cloak and dagger game. These things should be hinted at as a broader backdrop. As a ending finale revelation perhaps. Not front and center the whole game.
But this is derailing the thread of Logans cringyness. And i leave it now.

The My Time Universe has elements of Spy / Cloak and Dagger content, political intrigue, and a minor Cold War backdrop. It's as important to the lore as being Post Apocalyptic. This is established in the first entry -- My Time at Portia.

- There are also other themes touched on such as Technology / Science vs Faith, philosophical commentary such as - ' Is there a path if followed that we are doomed to repeat history? ' , environmental concerns, ect.

All that being said, it doesn't matter to me who does or does not like ANY character in Sandrock. I happen to enjoy morally grey moments where there IS no exact right or wrong answer to the situation because that's far closer to what we deal with in real life. We so very rarely have the ideal.


Back to the cringe, it's time for me to confess my own personal cringe. I actually have thought about asking for Wanted Posters to be added so we could have them at the Workshop. Unrelated to Logan fangirl stuff, I just really liked the ones the artists have made for Logan and Haru. They have that authentic Western vibe to them like you'd find at like the Billy the Kid museum and stuff.

Having seen the Princess' room, I'm kinda glad I never did even if it would've added to outdoors. The poor devs would've thought I wanted it for some teen boy band shrine lol.

Agreed, this thread is to be a light hearted joining of ppl who enjoy the game. we are all here to laugh and cringe at the humor of it. EVERY person has the right to how they feel about the characters. them being bad or good and HOW doesn't matter as it will always be perceived differently as each person has their own code of morals. that is that, so just enjoy the thread as it is. and keep the arguments out. if ya don't like something just be the adult and don't respond.

I wanted so badly not to click it. I sat there and cringed for like 3 minutes before finally clicking it just to see what happened. I take the heart options with everyone at all times(except turning arvio down) and I almost couldn't do this one.
And man... I knew what was going to happen and I still clicked and still hated it. So awkward.

Like, seriously... at least make it something that's not the maximum amount of creeper energy you could possibly exhibit.

I was personally amused by Logan's response to the declaration. It makes sense in a way because I'm pretty sure he doesn't count the encounter where the MC and he make eye contact and there's an "electric" current between them as actually having met. And he certainly doesn't know that the MC has been snooping around on behalf of the friends he left in Sandrock to pursue answers for himself. Now, if he is actually romance-able by the time the game is finished I think it would be interesting to see how that would unfold. I only have My Time in Portia to compare it to but right now it really only feels like we've maybe hit the half-way point in the game. Maybe 2/3 if the devs want to wrap things up quick like.

I also agree with the flirty option towards Logan that it was cringe. Especially for the first meeting but his reaction was cute 🤣 I mean, he got the obsessed mouse and now a builder like that. I do hope the flirty options towards Logan in the future, wouldn't be "I'm an obsessed fangirl"-ish. But supportive and normal.

I have to admit, I couldn't get myself to do it. I want to romance Logan since I first saw him but it was too embarrassing for me... XD
I hope we get less cringy flirt options in future updates.
