Day of memories in autumn how

1st of autumn and I'm having the memorial day i don't get it, and next to it is the ghost hunting.... awkward. I tried to search on google about it but nada

that's cannon? I thought it was bugged or something since it doesn't make sense that the day to remember the fallen is the same day as halloween

Both Day of Memories and the Wishing Festival are in summer in game (Summer 27 into the morning of Summer 28). It's Halloween-like, but not Halloween. The big autumn festival is the Running of the Yakmel.

Also, it's not unusual to have a day of remembering the fallen after Halloween. November 1 is the Day of the Dead (or Dia de los Muertos) in real life.

If you do research into the history of Halloween you'll find it's actually very tied to spirits and the souls of the dead. So, again, not really that unusual.

Halloween has always been a day to remember the dead. The word hallween came from all hallows eve, literally a holy day to honor the dead.

Traditionally, it was believed to be the day where the veil between the living and the dead was the thinnest, so offerings to your family would be received.

Soul cakes (or soulmass cakes) were offerings for the dead, which were given to children who went door to door singing songs and prayers for the dead, which eventually turned into the modern giving candy to children dressed as spirits, because over time humans tend to 'cute' up our traditions.

for some reason I did not connect that, I thought it was a different day halloween/dia de los muertos which is oct 31 and then rememberance day.
I must have mix them up and I thought it bugged like in EA since I want to max everything each day at 100%.
