If you don't want to wait until the main story is like 95% complete, Mi-An is the obvious choice.

Nia is better IMO for a number of reasons, but like Aerogems said you can't romance her until the game is like 90% done and you can't marry until its 99% done. You could date Mi-an until then and then breakup with her.

Honestly Mi-an is too high strong while Nia is a bit more laid back but still a hard worker so Nia would be my choice if I only had to choose between those two other wise Heidi she is very well put together char. Me I'm going for Fang.

Mi-an you can marry practically the first month and start a family.

Also Here's a trick for Nia, the moment she becomes date-able you can marry her immediately if you interact with her for a Kiss.. then hit F12 to screen cap just as they begin to kiss. It will freeze for a bit then prompt the marriage tutorial.. foregoing what ever requirement you're forced to wait for marriage.
