Where is the agate in The Bend?

Agate seems to be pretty rare. I just search The Bend area and did not encounter any. Unfortunately, it looks like you have to walk near it to get an 'E' to pop up. I never see it before then. Is there someplace specific people have found it? I.e. Near the tunnel? In some set of rocks? Please help a fellow Sandrocker! Thanks.

Just beyond the bridge/Yakmel station, on the ground, it's a few little red rock piles. They're concentrated in that first part of the area.

There are a very limited amount of nodes, but I think respawn everyday. In order to get more, can also be refined from granite.

They are very hard to find. From a distance, you can't see them. With Limestone, other ores and scrap heaps, you can see a pillar of stone or a bump in the sand. With agate, you have to be just about on top of them for them to paint/show up. There is another resource (that I can't remember what it is) that you can see from a fair distance away as a splotch on the ground. These show up kind of like the sand worms. It would be nice if the agate shows up like that. Or like the scrap heaps.

Doesn't look like they respawn everyday. I harvested them one day and went back the next. Couldn't find any. Of course, with the fact that you have to nearly run over them for the UI to pop up the gather message, I could have missed them. But I don't think so.

I got my Agate from using granite in the refining granite machine....
