ow to use the delivery box?

what do you mean? You walk up to it ... a prompt comes up ... (check i think it says) and you collect it.

First you need to contract a service (Eufalla Salvage and Civil Corps (MAYBE I never contracted so not sure if they just mail their stuff.) I think ES becomes available after the Bridge or maybe the Sorting Machine (I don't recall). CC becomes available.....I don't remember.

when you get a contract with Eufala Mines - the delivery box appears ... because that's where they deliver the stuff you ordered to be delivered daily on your contract. There are 3 levels on it, you can start on level 1 and go to level 3 if you can pay it.

I know I didn't contract (this playthrough) and its in front of my house. Showed up after an update I believe (Which I suspect was the cause.)

If you've got a pet the box arrives. If you ask your pet to dig up something it'll be dropped off there.

Don't have a pet. Don't believe in that kind of co-dependancy.

Well, I have the animals. But I am only using them for products (I guess they use me for food and shelter and emotional fufillment (I do hug and pet them, and I guess I would be sad if anything happened to Pidgeon (Yakamal), Skittles (Rooster), Lil Oprah (Hen), and Shamrock (Rabbit). But I don't consider them pets. Their Family (you know, unpaid labour).

Ok, ok. If you've got some furry, four legged animal running around the workshop, the delivery box will spawn. Same thing if you've got CoCo flying around.
