Does anyone know what these are used for? Wiki says crafting item, but can't find anything that needs them.

I understand that. I know how to obtain them. But are they used for anything other then gifting since the wiki says they are a crafting item?

No, their only specific use is in that mission.

ETA: Items with similar purposes are also listed as crafting material. My guess is it's because they're categorized as resources like other crafting items. Examples: Unsuur's Lovely Seashell and Rock of Love, Owen's The Traveler's Evergreen

They're purely for the quest in which they appear, and for gifting (they do make excellent gifts if you haven't maxed out just about every relationship by the point in the very lategame where they show up.)
