Party runs out of food

if i throw a big party (well *big*) just a party were i hand out all of the invites
my party runs out of food

so my question is why cant i restock the party table with food while the party is ongoing

orr why cant i put more then 1 item in the foodslots of the table

i have basiclly unlimited amounts of cooked food items
i dont want to put a 999 stack in there but ENOUGH that it lasts until the party is over

it just feels really bad being told :: THE PARTYTABLE IS EMPTY and not having anything that i can do about it

You can restock the food while the party is going. The table should give you that option. If you get the empty notice, just go to the table and open it then put new food in it. The guests eat in waves and I find it easiest to restock after each wave. Also, if you have Rosie you can assign her to re-stock the party food.

mmh i must have borked it then somehow, cuz my table told me something along the lines :
cant while party is ongoing

and ofc i totally missed that fact that there is a party chip, sigh :D so many partys with hungry guests...

i figured out my mistake, the food has to be on the hotbar, so all this time i was trying it and the table told me i cant..... it was because i was trying to put items on the table like my daggers etc

The table is super picky. I actually find it so frustrating that I rarely throw parties. You have to align your cursor just so, hold your tongue properly and make the proper party god offering all at the same time to get the prompt.
