Yes. I have. I play on PC. I don't remember for certain, but there is a fishing point on the desert, up north. You can fish there.
Am I remembering right or are they eels?

You can catch Sand Snakes in The Eufaula Desert and in The Bend, but I have never even seen a Sand Snake King no matter how long I fish for and with my fishing skill maxed out

Are you using the right bait at the fishing spots mentioned above ? I think it was the chestnut one when I caught mine .

I haven't seen one either. I am playing on Ps5. I wonder if it is a Ps5 bug. I have caught the WolfSnake King but not the Sand Snake King

Yes, sand snake king should be found in The Bend, did you also catch "wolf snake king" in that pool? If you did, could you please send us a screenshot of this creature? It could be a bug. And you can send it to our email: [e-mail]

I had the name slightly wrong when I said wolf snake king. I is actually called wolf eel king. There is wolf eel, large wolf eel and wolf eel king, none of them can be donated to the museum. Do you still need screenshots or is the wolf eel king supposed to be in the game?

I see, Wolf Eel King is normal, no need for screenshots then only because we don't have creature been called wolf snake king. We will check the data of the pool in the Bend.

I finally caught the Sand Snake King, but on the PlayStation 5 the chances of getting one to appear seems extremely low compared to other King Fish. I fished all day long for 5 in-game days and I only got 1 Sand Snake King to appear on the 5th day and I had my fishing skill maxed out

The possibility of appearing Sand Snake King is very low;
The Sand Snake King is only attracted by chestnut;
There is an upper limit on the number of fish that can be spawned in the pool at the same time, when players reach the upper limit, fish won't be spawned anymore until number decreased

It just seems like the Sand Snake King has a much lower chance of being spawned than othe King Fish. I know that there is a limit to how many fish will spawned, that is why I throw about 5 chestnuts, see what spawns and if a Sand Snake King doesn't appear then I exit sandfishing and re-enter sandfishing and that will reset the sandfish spawns
