How do you get treasure chests buried in the ground?

I've noticed, that among lots of treasure chests you can parkour to, and open for rewards, some of them are just simply buried in the ground, but when I try interacting with them, it doesn't do anything. I'm guessing I'll need to dig it up to get it out, but can you get shovels in this game? Cause I've played this game for a quite a while, and have never seen any option for digging tools at the worktable

Because everyone knows a layer of sand so thin you can see through it is impossible to remove without a tool crafted specifically for that task. >.<

Yeah, I got a bit confused, cause the layer of sand was a bit misleading, and made it look like the chest was submerged in the ground, makes sense now ^_^

Oh yeah, I just unlocked the vacuum from that quest where you have to get rid of that green mist and goo from that valley, and it's definitely more effective than a feather duster! :D
